Caje Coffee Roasters in Ventura is such a cool and unique spot. The café is set inside an old Victorian-style home that’s been converted into a coffee place, and it has an awesome vibe from the moment you walk in. It feels cozy, different, and full of character — not like your typical coffee shop. They’ve got a great menu too: matcha drinks, açai bowls, avocado toast, and plenty of options for a light breakfast or snack. The patio area is especially nice — a perfect place to sit, relax, and enjoy the Ventura weather, and it’s even better knowing you’re close to the beach. My personal favorite is the matcha — it’s consistently delicious and always hits the spot. Great location, great atmosphere, and a place I’ll definitely keep coming back to. Gorgeous little cafe with beautifully presented food. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The layout is a bit intimate indoors as tables aren't spaced out much & a small bar - every seat was taken by 11am on a Friday when I arrived. A menu outside at the entrance of the store or QR code to their menu would help out as, the menu is near the register/ordering area- it is hard to see when people are standing in front of it. The foyer has limited space to stand afterward to wait for your name to be called. It was a little awkward for me. Expext a simple menu of acai bowls or toast/bagel options and extensive drink options. Expect to spend about $24 per person for a drink and a bite + tip. I got the Bella Rose strawberry matcha 4/5, it wasn't sweet at all, which I liked but, room temp kinda threw me off. The avocado toast was okay 3/5 but the winner was the bagel with cream cheese, greens and dill - to die for 5/5. It is definitely a luxury to visit this aesthetic cafe, but it is worth the experience. The outdoor spaces were all so inviting with tables, couches with shaded and sunlit Gazebo style layout. Parking is limited to paid street parking nearby or free parking lot a couple blocks away. I think Caje is a successful downtown cafe option & perfect for brunch buddy gatherings, a solo trip, or even a study spot.

A bright, airy, cozy space to enjoy your morning cuppa in the historic 71 Palm Building (Remember the 71 Palm Restaurant?!) Relaxing, peaceful vibe. My only complaint is that the counter where you sometimes have to pick up your drink (maybe when it's super busy?) is Very high, like practically over my head! (I'm 5'2".) I tried the only hot signature drink they offer: The Burnout. It was delish, with original flavor combos and beautifully presented in a coupe cocktail glass...But I feel like $11 is a lot to pay for about 6-8 oz of liquid :/ I've also had The Market Bagel and The Works...They both have creative flavor blends and textures, and generously portioned....so good. You could easily spend $50 for two people. So be ready for that. Despite the price, I keep catching myself thinking about what I'm going to order the next time I go there

I’ve been a fan of Cajé since my Santa Barbara days, back when the Haley Street location was part of my regular routine. I always stick to my usual order: a Works bagel on everything and an iced vanilla latte. Their specialty lattes are very popular, but I keep it simple and honestly never get tired of this combo. When I heard Cajé was opening in downtown Ventura, I was ecstatic. The space is beautiful, with a spacious patio veranda that works for everyone, families, college students, and anyone looking for a relaxed place to hang out. It’s a great spot to catch up on emails, read a book, or meet a friend without feeling rushed. WiFi is provided, and there are outlets available inside to charge devices. Parking can be limited in the back, so I usually park at the free public lot behind Coalition. Not a big deal since it’s very close by. I often stop here during the week when I’m heading to nearby thrift stores. Weekends tend to be busier, so expect longer wait times. The staff is friendly, service is quick, the food is consistent, and the overall vibe is welcoming. Counter service is open daily from 7am to 3pm, and in the evening the space transforms into the dinner restaurant, Ten Tigers.

Quite possibly one of the best little coffee shops I've ever been too. The vibe is incredible and the signature coffee drinks are unbelievable. The Ethiopian drip is next level. Acai bowls, Lox bagels and vibes are the best.

Ryan and michaela was so helpful with helping me choose out the best items for me on the menu since it was my first time. Trust me the hype is real. The avocado toast is so fresh just missing a little scrambled egg and cheese in my opinion. The chai is a little bit more spicy than i expected but the matcha drinks looks phenomenal. I suggest you park on the street with the meters here or try to find a public space in the public parking lot and walk over. Its close to the farmers market.

Our second time here, our first time we only ordered a drink (Maui Brad), second time we ordered the Burnout and food. My boyfriend and I liked both coffee drinks but were surprised that we actually preferred the Burnout over the Maui Brad. I got the avocado toast which everyone agreed was delicious, my boyfriend had the caprese bagel which was also quite good and my dad enjoyed his Westside bagel. Everything was delicious and the setting is awesome, we love their outdoor area, my dad was very happy which is important since he drove up from LA. Seems like the perfect place to bring your laptop and do some work or have a bite to eat and some really unique coffee!
